Nephrite Huang with Decoration of Bird Pattern.
白玉，褐色鐵鏽沁，器扁平圓弧形。
雙面兩端均以大斜刀雕琢鳥紋。
端部有小穿孔，孔徑1.5mm。
造型極美，雕工精湛。

感謝格友(小小白)ちび白ゃん提點，我也覺得應該是可佩帶的項飾。
因為如此一來，鳥紋圖像即呈向上態勢，予人正面鼓舞的印象!!



Jade, or “Yu”, as it is called in Mandarin, is a generic term for two different gems: nephrite and jadeite. It has a very special significance in  ancient Chinese culture.

Chinese people love jade just as Western people love diamond. This is why the back of the medal for Beijing 2008 Olympic Games is inlaid with nephrite.

This is a ceremonial nephrite piece, “Huang”, with decoration of bird pattern. Huang is a semi-circular ritual implement and/or ornament. The bird design is a typical pattern in West Chou dynasty (1027-771 B.C.).

Fogg Art Museum at Harvard University (USA) has a similar piece.

與美國哈佛大學佛格博物館藏之鳥紋璜相似。
